(Pronounced IN-OOK-SHOOK)
These majestic human like cairns were erected in the image of man by the Inuit of the Canadian Artic as guides, compasses and milestones in the snow permafrost regions that offered few natural landmarks. Inukshuk were erected along ancient conduits of human travel to offer a physical manifestation of choice in an uncertain world and offer reassurance, nourishment and trust to the viewer. They also offer spiritual guidance with a deep cultural significance to the Inuit as directional markers that signify safety, hope and friendship from generations of travelers. Today, they remind us that we have many choices while exploring the path of our life and that we are never alone. When contemplating this ancient symbol of human compassion, we are reminded to share our experience and hospitality generously with those on the path now and in the future.
Our Cube Light sets the perfect mood for enhancing a romantic dinner, subtle accent lighting at parties and a great focus point for meditation. All vertical sides feature an Inukshuk silhouette that looks fantastic with the play of light and shadow. The central well will hold any standard sized tea light.
